Higher EAST Side, NY — A lady jogging on the Upper East Side was doused in liquid and berated with anti-homosexual statements by an unidentified duo, according to police, who requested for aid pinpointing the assailants.
All-around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 21, the 69-yr-old woman was jogging close to the corner of East 77th Avenue and Second Avenue. However law enforcement did not identify her, the New York Submit noted that the target was “Classy” Elliot Offen, a community fixture recognized for jogging close to the city in a vivid purple gown, and for colorful appearances on Howard Stern’s radio show in the early 2000s.
As the two people created unspecified anti-gay slurs, they tossed an “not known white liquid substance” at Offen, covering the back of her head. (An NYPD spokesperson stated the substance could have been milk, but was not conclusively recognized.)
